Home Learning Update:

Home Learning Update:

As you are all aware, students across Y7, Y8, Y9, and Y10 will continue to be set learning remotely via either Google classroom and / or paper based packs.  We thank you for your continued support during these unusual times; and are appreciative of all the support and guidance you have been providing your young person during this period of home schooling.

We would like to support the learning and progress of your child with their paper based learning resources, with this in mind, please return any completed paper learning to the Academy reception by Monday 29th June so that teacher feedback can be provided.

In order to further supplement the learning being undertaken at home we will be offering additional recorded lessons via Twitter, Facebook, Academy Website and Google Classroom.

From Monday 29th June, Year 7, 8 and 9 students will be able to access recorded lessons for Maths, English, Science, Geography, History and PSHE. Students will be able to access one recorded lesson per week, per subject. The sessions will be delivered by subject specialists and will cover core content, knowledge, skills and retrieval of the curriculum.

Students will be able to access the lessons via a link which will be posted on Twitter, Facebook, Website and Google classroom. To access the resource students will need to click the link which will automatically take them to the video / lesson.

Please see below timetable for lessons being uploaded. These will be undertaken on a rolling basis; following the same programme each week for the final three weeks of the summer term.

The sessions will be available on the following days:

  • Monday: PSHE
  • Tuesday: Science
  • Wednesday: English
  • Thursday: Maths
  • Friday: Humanities – Geography and History

Once again thank you for your support….
